Biography Of The Band:
The Vintage Truth is a group of Alfred University college students who have come together to shead some light around the Alfred area. The band began to gain popularity with a few shows in the fall of 2007. In the spring of 2008, the band released a five-song demo titled "Rumors," which led to more of a following for the band. Playing various venues at Alfred, Hornell, Oneonta, and Rochester, the band looks to expand its horizons and spread its music beyond New York State. With the help of Ron Keck and Subcat Studios, the band released a full length album titled "Karma Investment" in early 2009. Included on the album are Jackie Miller singing a duet with Jru Martin, and Joseph Petrillo playing acoustic guitar. With a unique sound, The Vintage Truth knows people will discover that their songs have a hook that keeps listeners interested.
